Every trip starts with a concept, involves hundreds to thousands of images, and culminates in an initial selection of favorites- my first cut. All of the selected photographs speak to the trip: light, color, and in some cases the hardship. While most won’t make it into my portfolio, I enjoy sharing this “first cut” documenting my journeys.
