Owens Lake, Cottonwood Road & Swansea Petroglyphs - 2019

Near Lone Pine, California

Took a trip out to the Owens Dry Lake to visit sea some of the mitigation measures put in place by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. Along the way, we saw the information kiosks and the bird viewing area with islands designed to imitate waves. Side trips involved local petroglyphs and a trip up the Cottonwood Creek.
